Larger than a normal chicken but smaller than a turkey, capons provide tender, juicy, flavourful meat that is well suited to roasting.
The capons are allowed to mature slowly and wander freely around the spacious barns at the Oaks Poultry Farm in Ditchling, Sussex. All this freedom and natural light makes for especially tasty meat for your Christmas table.
They are aged for a minimum of 7 days to allow the flavour to develop.
We provide our capons dressed and oven ready along with a set of giblets.
